Akarana Timbers Rebrand
Akarana Timbers provide premium quality pre-nail frames and trusses all over New Zealand. They have been in the business for 50 years and were keen to refresh their brand presence and logo. While I was working at the design agency Creative Practice, I redesigned the Akarana Timber logo to embody a more modern look and feel. The icon was inspired by the wood texture found in a cross section of timber, which nods toward the wide range of timber, landscaping products, building supplies, hardware and tools that they provide their customers. Throughout the year, I also created many informational brochures, building signage, ute and truck wraps. The responsive modern website design was mocked up in Adobe XD and later created in Webflow.
