CLAY Academy Branding
Fay and Feme from Asuna Group asked us to deliver a visual identity for their sub brand ‘Christian Entrepreneur’. Christian Entrepreneur would hold Christian based courses for young adults to equip them to follow their calling in the industry. This would include soul searching, practical business skills and creating a business proposal to pursue their new project. They were open to explore new and creative ideas and names so we aimed to create a fresh and modern approach to the concept.
We knew it would need to appeal to the young adults, and so we chose a vibrant red, orange, blue and green gradient palette to add visual energy to the brand. We came up with the name ‘CLAY’, based on the biblical concept that God is the potter and we are the clay, shaped to do his will. ‘We are the clay, and you are our potter. All of us are the work of your hand’. Isaiah 64:8
This concept of ‘CLAY’ allowed us to work with many organic and freeform shapes which is a modern aesthetic appealing to our younger target audience.
